Raider hustle falls short of Regina win
Prince Albert Raiders 4 at Regina Pats 5 – Status: Final
Saturday, February 5, 2011 – Brandt Centre – Regina, SK.
The turning point came in the first period with the Raiders up 1-0. Garrett Mitchell ran goal tender Jamie Tucker, forcing him out of the game with a severally cut thumb. From there the Pats poured in four goals in a five minute span on a stone cold Eric Williams and carried that 4-1 lead to 5-4 win in Regina.
Scoring for the raiders, Todd Fiddler, Justin Maylan, Andy Hurleyand Jonathan Parker. Harrison Ruopp picked up three assists, won a fight and was battering Pats all over the ice.
The turning point came at the first period after Jamie tucker was forced out after being run by Garrett Mitchell and the pats hung on for a 5-4 win.
