PA and Area Community Foundation Grant Deadline is March 1st

The Prince Albert and Area Community Foundation exists to provide a unique opportunity for area residents to invest in their community and to fund charitable activities that will contribute to an improved quality of life in the region.

Our three interdependent core functions are fund development, grantmaking and community leadership. 

At the heart of these functions lies grantmaking, which helps to address community needs and to build capacity for the future.

Projects must benefit the community as a whole in the areas of Children and Youth, Family and Community, Arts & Culture, Health & Welfare, Sports & Recreation, Research and Education.

For 2011, preference will be given to innovative projects that address

·         Enhancing personal and family safety

·         Affordable housing

·         Enhancing security and safety of children

The PAACF has approximately $37,500 to award as grantsThis may be awarded to a single recipient or as a number of smaller grants.

 

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS IS MARCH 2, 2011.  GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED IN JUNE, 2011.
