Apology for privacy breach

A health region in the southeast corner of the province is apologizing to its patients for a privacy breach.

The Sun Country Health Region based out Weyburn says one employee “improperly reviewed” electronic prescription records of 66 patients between March 2009 and January 2010.

The health region says it's conducted a thorough investigation and is preparing a report for the province's information and privacy commissioner.
