Raiders fall to Oil Kings

Two goals by former Beardy’s Blackhawk, Dylan Wruck, proved to be the difference as the Oil Kings scored four unanswered goals, three of them in the third period, and handed the Prince Albert Raiders a 4-2 loss in Edmonton.
Justin Maylan and Todd Fiddler had staked the Raiders to an early second period lead, but Wruck’s first goal, and a disputed one, sparked the comeback. It looked as if it was directed in by his elbow, but after a lengthy video review it was ruled a good goal.
The Raiders out-shot Edmonton 38-33 on the night, got a good game and goal from Jaime Tucker, but the youngster Laurent Brossoit made 36 saves at the other end.
The Raiders play tonight in Calgary.
