Warm, windy weather making Sask. highways slippery

The Highway Hotline warns roads around Saskatchewan are very slick on Sunday.
Dianne Mierau, with the Hotline, blamed the milder temperature.
“There is a lot of pavement frost happening because our temperatures are close to the zero mark,” she said. “We have icy/slippery sections and loose snow and snow drifts.”
As of late Sunday morning, travel was not recommended in the Swift Current area on Highway 271 from Maple Creek to Fort Walsh. That's due to icy sections and swirling snow.
