UPDATE: Stranger scare in Birch Hills

A small community south east of Prince Albert is on high alert.

The RCMP is investigating an incident that happened in Birch Hills Friday morning before school.

A man allegedly attempted to lure a young male student into his black truck.

The man is described as being in his 30's with darker skin and black hair and was wearing a black ball cap.

Birch Hills School Principal Doug Wallace said so far as they know this was an isolated incident involving a junior high student.

Wallace added they are reminding all the kids about stranger danger.

Teachers and staff are being told to report anyone that looks suspicious.
