Roughriders introduce Greg Marshall as new head coach
Greg Marshall is excited to be a head coach in the CFL, but is more excited about the opportunity to be head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
“I feel very blessed for this opportunity. Thank the good Lord for blessing myself with this opportunity to come back here and be part of Rider Nation,” said Marshall.
Marshall said the Roughrider organization's values matches his own. Number one, he believes in treating the players and other in the organization with respect. He looks forward to the excitement of coming out of the tunnel on game day.
Former head coach and current vice-president of football operations, Ken Miller, said Marshall has the qualities the team was looking for — an excellent football coach, a coach of excellent character, a coach who wanted to and could fit into Rider nation, and a coach with reputation of being a players' coach.
