The Saskatchewan Roughriders are set to name Hamiltin Tiger Cats defensive co-ordinator Greg Marshall as its new head coach.
According to TSN's Dave Naylor, an announcement is expected sometime next week.
Marshall was able to beat out such names as former Edmonton Eskimos head coach Richie Hall, Riders offensive co-ordinator Doug Berry, Calgary Stampeders defensive backs coach Corey Chamblain, and Montreal Alouettes offensive co-ordinator Scott Milanovich.
Naylor also says there's speculation Hall may still wind up with Riders as the defensive co-ordinator bumping out current co-ordinator Gary Etcheverry.
