Jobs bring families to Saskatchewan

Over 15,000 more people call Saskatchewan home compared to a year ago thanks to an increase in job opportunities.

Speaking on News Talk Radio's John Gormley Live on Tuesday morning, Doug Elliot with Sask Trends Monitor identified three major areas where the province has grown over the last year.

“We have an increase in the number of births, we have an increase in international immigration and we have a lot of net flow from across the borders,” said Elliot.

But Elliot noted the major reason for Saskatchewan's growth is simple: our economy is creating jobs.
