Give a little life campaign inches closer to goal

The Give a little Life campaign for Victoria Hospital has received another major donation.

Thorpe Brothers made an undisclosed contribution, which leaves the fifth annual fundraiser less than $12,000 shy of its $400,000 goal.

“It’s just an excellent example of how individuals and companies that do business in the region really believe in giving back to the community and the region that they serve,” said Rob Dalziel, executive director with the Victoria Hospital Foundation.

All the money collected from this year’s campaign is being used to purchase new equipment for the hospital’s aging operating room. Even though the campaign is still short the Prince Albert Parkland

Health region has placed the order for the new equipment.
