A Prince Albert lawyer received some prestigious recognition today.

Mitchell Holash, of Holash Logue McCullagh law firm, has been honoured with a Queen’s Counsel appointment and an honorary title that’s given to people who meet specific standards.

To be nominated a lawyer has to live in Saskatchewan and have practiced law for at least 10 years in the superior courts of any province or territory in Canada, the United Kingdom or Ireland.

“A Queen’s Counsel designation is an important honour bestowed for the significant contribution made by the recipient to the legal profession and to our province,” said Justice Minister Don Morgan in a press release.
