Downtown Ambassador Program

The Prince Albert Downtown Improvement District Association is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer bard of directors. The board of Directors and Membership is made up of property and business owners from within the Business Improvement District as described by the City Bylaw.

Our Mission

  • To create a presence promoting the improvement and revitalization of the downtown core.
  • We will strive to be a positive influence in the district discouraging negative activity and promoting a comfortable business environment.

Join our Team!

Volunteers add to the on-street presence of 4 regular Downtown Ambassadors. Ambassadors work closely with the downtown residents, property and business owners and our patrons to the district. The community on Patrol Volunteer Ambassador Team work as good will ambassadors to the Downtown District providing regular guided tours, directions, information about local events and businesses, first aid, and participate in beautification projects, such as litter pick up and flower planting. All ambassadors will be equipped with 2-way radios, first aid kits, identification cards, t-shirt and or jacket. You will be trained in non-confrontational mediation, problem solving, first aid, hospitality and history of the original settlement. Successful applicants will have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills and enjoy interaction with the public. For application details and requirements call the Prince Albert Downtown Improvement District.
