Police continue to investigate break and enter

Police are still investigating a break and enter at Bocian Jewellers.

During a police press conference, Tuesday morning, Sgt. Kelly McLean said police still don’t know how much was taken.

“There was also some property missing from inside the business. There were display cases that were broken, but there's no inventory available on what was taken at this time,” he said.

A resident of the building on the 1200 block of Central Avenue was woken by alarm bells coming from the jewellers at 4 a.m. Monday.

When the resident went to check, his car was gone and he noticed the interior and exterior of the doors of the business had been broken.

Police found the car just before 5 a.m. in the 200 block of 10th Street East. They seized it for examination.
