NDP nominations for 2010 provincial elections

With provincial elections coming in less than a year, candidate nominations are starting vamp up.
The New Democratic Party announced its nominations for Melfort and Batoche for the 2010 provincial elections this weekend.
Ivan Yackel was selected as the NDP candidate to represent Melfort.
Janice Bernier will represent the NDP in Batoche.
Ted Zurakowski will represent the NDP in Prince Albert Carlton. The Prince Albert city councilor announced his nomination earlier this year.
The NDP has already announced over half of its candidates for the election.
Because the province will be using fixed elections dates, the general election will be held on or before November 7.
