The potash watch is ticking

Tuesday started with the Globe and Mail and National Post saying Investment Canada has given the go-ahead for BHP Billiton to purchase Potash Corp.

That was followed by Industry Minister Tony Clement saying there has been no recommendation and a decision by the federal government is expected tomorrow.

But according to some media sources, the answer could come sooner than that.

“I guess we’ll probably find out after markets close today, that’s what people are telling us,” said The Globe's Boyd Erman
