Liam’s “Give a Little Life” Fundraiser

Oct 7, 2014 | 10:25 AM

Liam Cay is a 9 year old boy who loves to play rock and roll on guitar and who is learning Fiddle.

He is a success story of the Victoria Hospital’s Nursery. Born at 3.5 lbs at 28 weeks, he was able to stay in Prince Albert where he was cared for very well.

Now he wants to give back and raise money for the GIVE A LITTLE LIFE radio-thon that is hosted by Rawlco Radio every year to raise money for the Victoria Hospital Foundation. This year the money will be used for the Nursary and the Pediatric Ward.

Both these wards are overwhelmed with needs that exceed capacity in terms of equipment and every dollar raised willbe a benefit.

Liam will be playing every Friday evening at the Flute and Fiddle Heritage Dance Hall in Birch Hills during Open Mic. He will be accepting donations at this time so we encourage people to come out to Birch Hills to hear Liam and other great musicians play. There is no cover charge for the Open Mic. The Flute and Fiddle is located at 239 Bellamy Ave. in Birch Hills (Main Street)  https://www.facebook.com/TheFluteAndFiddle . The facility is licensed as a Family Dance Hall so children are welcome and there is no need for a babysitter to come and see Liam play and donate.

He says he will also play up to SIX songs for other events or groups for a donation to Give a Little Life.

For more information, to book Liam or to just donate – you can contact his mom, Karen, at 864-7122.

All money earned will be donated to Give a Little Life.
