Won-Ska Cultural School (Senior and Junior) and Beat the Street

The mission of Won-Ska is to empower students to achieve their full potential as individuals through a student-centered, culturally and spiritually-based educational program. We encompassing healing, learning and growing in the four dimensions: mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional.

Our goal for Beat the Street is to help young people achieve their goals.  We help set up individual education and training plans that work for the young person.  We have an addictions worker, justice counselor, employment counselor, crisis counselor and outreach workers.

Our programs include: credited high school classes, workshops and presentations, literacy skills, lifeskills/employment skills, recreation, arts and crafts, cultural events, elders on staff everyday, community involvement (volunteers), youth alliance against gang violence, and the Warrior Spirit Walking program.
