Prince Albert Raiders winger Cole Fonstad has cracked the NHL’s Central Scouting Midterm rankings for the 2018 NHL Draft.

On Monday morning, the Estevan product was ranked 78th amongst North American skaters for this summer’s draft, June 22 and 23 in Dallas.

The 5’9”, 157 lbs. Fonstad has 12 goals and 35 assists in 47 games for the Raiders, nearly doubling his production from his rookie season.

Fonstad was previously named as one of 139 players on the NHL Central Scouting’s “Players to Watch” list. He earned a ‘C’ rating, worthy of a fourth, fifth, or sixth-round draft candidate. He will play in the 2018 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game on Jan. 25 in Guelph, ON.
