Construction temporarily closes Art Hauser Centre parking lot

Jul 11, 2017 | 12:00 PM

Much needed repairs are underway at the Art Hauser Centre parking lot.

The project is one of Mayor Greg Dionne’s promises from this year’s State of the City address. According to Capital Project manager Wes Hicks, the city is spending $430,000 in repair costs this year.

The parking lot will be closed for two weeks for reconstruction. The recycle center has been removed, which means residents will have to take their recycling to one of the other four recycle center locations in the city.

While the work is underway, vehicles can park in the north parking lot and Gary Anderson Way will remain open.
