Pelican Narrows village hall lost in fire

Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating fire which claimed the village’s hall.
At 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police responded to a complaint of a structure fire in Pelican Narrows. When officers arrived on the scene, the LAC Village hall was fully engulfed in flames. The building is a total loss and the scene is still hot.
No one was injured during the fire, nor were nearby buildings damaged.
RCMP couldn’t speculate yet whether the fire was accidental or suspicious.
