PACE Cheerleaders finish strong

Local youths cheered all the way to a victorious season end.  

Prince Albert Cheer Explosion (PACE) participated in the Saskatchewan Provincial Cheerleading Championship, on Saturday, March 19 in Saskatoon and ended their successful season strongly.

PACE Ignite Senior Level One finished in first place with 92.67 per cent. PACE TNT Senior Level One Group Stunt finished in first place and PACE Nitro Senior Level Three Group Stunt finished in third place.

14 PACE athletes participated in the event.

Sandra Horne, coach, said PACE is looking to extend its cheer team. Youths aged seven to 18, who are interested in joining, are encouraged to attend the “Bring a friend to cheer” events. They take place on Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Rivier Academy Gym. For more information click here.
