Amendments to the city’s portable sign bylaw are up for second and third reading at Monday night’s city council meeting.
Since 2010, the city has made several changes to its bylaw to keep pace with changing sign types.
The latest amendments define certain types of signs and which signs require a permit.
The amendments also define how the bylaw will apply to businesses that want to put up a sign in the city but are located elsewhere.
