2nd man Tasered by police in less than a month

For the second time in a month, police in Prince Albert have used a Taser to subdue a suspect.

The incident happened on Sunday, after officers with the Prince Albert Police Service were called out to a home in the 500 block of 19th Street West for a man wanted on outstanding warrants.

When they attempted to arrest the man, he allegedly resisted officers and officers used the Taser to gain control.

According to police, the Taser was effective and they took the man into custody. The man was not hurt in the incident.
