A man accused in two separate sexual assault cases has been found dead in his home.

Thomas Donald Mark, 72, was discovered dead by Nipawin RCMP in his home in Codette on Friday night.

Earlier on Friday, the RCMP announced that the former hockey coach would be charged with two counts of sexual assault after two men came forward this year with reports of the incidents.

According to officials, one incident happened in 1987 and one in 1997, both during the years that Mark was coaching hockey.
