VIDEO/PHOTOS: BOBS winners walk the red carpet

It was a night of celebration at the Ches Leach Lounge Tuesday night and the BOBS winners were the stars of the evening.
More than 300 people attended the event as either a winner or a guest and from the time they walked through the doors, they were given the superstar treatment. A red carpet was laid out at the entrance and Best Photographer Janna Gobeil was on site capturing every red carpet moment.
The evening featured the best that Prince Albert has to offer. Prince Albert’s Best Media Personalities hosted the event and Best DJ Maxwell Music and Best Band All Mighty Voice provided the tunes. Guests went crazy over the food, which of course was provided by none other than the city’s best restaurants and caterers including Shananigan’s Coffee and Dessert Bar, Lone Wolf Catering, My Place Restaurant, and Dr. Java’s Coffee House.
Four BOBS winners were also given special recognition at the event they included Best Teacher Kristin Pawliw, Best Coach Kara Thorpe, Best Volunteer Carol Soles, and of course Best Citizen Malcolm Jenkins, whose daughter accepted the award on his behalf.
