PA man gets two years for aggravated assault

A local man has been sentenced for his part in an aggravated assault that took place in November 2011.
Last week, 23-year-old Drew Atannas Joseph Ballantyne was sentenced to two years less a day in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
The incident took place in the 500 block of Ninth Street East on Nov. 3. A 26-year-old man had to be rushed to hospital with a wound to his abdominal area.
Another man, 19-year-old Dwayne Joseph Highway was also arrested at the scene and charged with three counts of breach of undertaking. He received a fine and probation.
