Saskatoon driver busted for speeding a dozen times

Jul 23, 2011 | 9:09 AM

An Integra is considered the entry level car for Acura, but a 27-year-old Saskatoon man thought it was hot — so he drove it like that until he was busted for speeding 12 times, and had his Intergra impounded for four months.

According to Saskatoon police, on May 1, 2011, officers stopped the car in the 1600 block of Warman Road traveling 120 kilometres an hour in a 60 kilometer zone.

Police also said that just over a month later on July 7, the same vehicle was stopped in the 700 block of McKercher Drive traveling at 103 kilometres in a 50 kilometer zone.

The man was fined more than $400 each time, but apparently didn't like slowing down.
