It is with great sadness that we announce that Yolande Théorêt (née Gaudet) passed away peacefully on March 10, 2014. Yolande was born October 21, 1927 in Bellevue, Saskatchewan. She received her elementary education in Bellevue and completed her secondary education in Domremy. She married Saül Théorêt on September 3rd, 1947 and they celebrated sixty-six years of marriage last fall. Saül and Yolande farmed in Bellevue for almost fifty years until they moved to Saskatoon in 2006 to be closer to several of their children. Yolande and Saül raised their eleven children with a shared philosophy of instilling sound morals and a strong work ethic through encouragement and support. Yolande’s love for her spouse, children, and extended family was unconditional. As her family grew and spread out she became the vital link that kept everyone connected, ensuring family members were kept apprised of significant events in her children’s lives to unite all in rejoicing in the many blessings. Yolande was a woman of faith and we celebrate a life well lived. Yolande will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Saül Théorêt; her sons, Ephrem (Rosemarie), Eugene (Karen), Leo, André (Carmen), Denis (Rita), James (Cherylee); her daughters, Clarisse (Isidore) Boutin, Lucie (Claude Weil), Dorothée (Danny) Theoret-Yee, Jeanne (Vern) Kustaski, Lorraine (Paul Leseberg); 33 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rita Prince; her brother, Sylvio (Norma) Gaudet; and numerous nephews and nieces; her brothers-in-law Norbert and Théodore (France); her sister-in-law Julienne.
