Yolande Pelletier

Yolande Emma (Sirois) Pelletier March 4, 1927 – November 28, 2010 Yolande passed away peacefully on Sunday in Prince Albert after a short battle with pneumonia. Yolande was born in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario and soon moved to Zenon Parc, Saskatchewan where she attended school. After marrying Guy Pelletier in 1948, they moved to Duck Lake where they farmed and ran the Pelletier General Store. In 1960 the family moved to Prince Albert where Yolande worked at the Holy Family and Victoria Union Hospitals for 27 years. Mom and Dad loved to camp and fish and spent many many weekends with family and friends at the northern lakes. After retirement they also enjoyed travelling to Mesa in the wintertime.Yolande was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Germaine Sirois, her husband Guy, brother Maurice Sirois and son-in-law Randy Barentsen. She leaves behind eight children, 15 grand children and two great grandchildren: Denis (wife Lynn Lindsay, children Madeleine & René), Suzanne Monaghan (husband Bob, children Jeffrey & Julie), Jacques (wife Jan, children Justin & Matthew), Paulette Zentner (husband Ed, children Chad & Adam (wife Diana, daughter Brynnleigh), Monique Mustard (husband Bob, children Jill Benbow (husband Dillon, daughter Lily) & Tyler), Claudette Pelletier-Hannah (husband Ken, children Marc & Pascal), Micheline Fedorko (husband Mike) and Marc (wife Laurie Anderson, children Simon, Anne & Henry). Her siblings Andre & Aline Sirois, Guy & Lise Sirois, Léo & Denise Sirois, Aline & Dale Gavel and sister-in-law Lorraine Bugg will also miss her, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.Funeral arrangements are in the care of River Park Funeral Chapel, Prince Albert. Prayer service will be held on Wednesday Dec 1 at River Park. The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Dec 2 at 2:00 pm.
