Willis is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sherry Melnyk-Highway; his mother, Eva McDermott; his father, David McDermott; his siblings, Roderick (Lisa) McDermott, David McDermott, Claudette McDermott, Carol McDermott; his sons, Bradley Cote, Billy Cote, Blaze Cote; his grandchild, Genisis Cote; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his aunties, Joan Highway, Flora Fleury, Annadele Hogan, Darlene Watson, Margaret Gardiner, Margie Highway.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jemima & Phylip Highway; his brother, Joseph McDermott; his first wife, Bernadette Cote; his nephews, Brett and Lyndon McDermott; numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins.

The Funeral Service for Willis will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, March 13, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating.
