WILLIAM “BILL” G. NUTTER
It is with sadness the family of Bill Nutter of Prince Albert, SK announce his sudden passing at home on Monday, May 27, 2013 at the age of 68. Bill was born on December 16, 1944 to Amos and Clara Nutter of Leask, SK. Bill married Donna Despins on July 1, 1967 and they had four children Annalee Nutter and her children Alyssa and Dylan; Brian Nutter; Debra Perret and her children Jacelyn and Kaden; Bill (Nicole) Nutter, Jr.; his sisters Joyce (Walter) Sherstobitoff and Patricia (Alfred) Letendre. He was predeceased by his brother J. Douglas in January of 2013. Bill went to work at the age of 17 to become a journeyman lineman and worked throughout Saskatchewan, Northern Manitoba, Alberta, Northern BC and Alaska. He loved to play hockey and was an avid fan of the game. He loved the outdoors winter and summer. Bill had a stroke 10 years ago resulting in right side paralysis and speech impairment. He continued to keep his good humour and never gave up. He liked to be on the road and had one more trip booked to Alaska in June. Bill loved his friends at “coffee talk”, a brain injury support group. He appreciated time spent with them so much. A special thanks to all the “workers” who help and support people with disabilities. May God bless you all. At Bill’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation and inurnment will take place at the Leask Cemetery. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Bill’s memory may do so to the Acquired Brain Injury Services, PA Parkland Health District, 1521 – 6 Avenue West, Prince Albert.
