It is with profound sadness that the family of Wilfred “Willy” Klarenbach announce his peaceful passing on August 7, 2023 at the age of 88 years.
Born in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan, Willy was the third of five children of Minnie and Jack Klarenbach. Willy spent his youth as an avid boy scout and was one of the first Queens Scouts in Canada. Willy lived a full and diverse life working a variety of jobs ranging from the railroad, oil rigs, and eventually serving many years as a boilermaker until his retirement. While some retirees spend their time on the golf course or playing cards, Willy spent his golden years taking up a new calling as a rancher, where he spent many enjoyable years on his farm with his family. Willy’s farm became a gathering place for his many children, grandchildren, family, and friends and many memorable times were had there.
Willy is pre-deceased by his parents, and his son Joel Klarenbach. He is survived by his siblings Kay, Carl, Rudy, and Vivian; his children, Doug, Karen, Pam, Darilynne, Darci, Lori, Cory, and Dustin; his beloved grandchildren Mike, Kyla, Shian, Brittany, Jamahl, Ayden, Ashton, Ava. Zoe Peyton and Kyli; as well as many great grandchildren.
