BUTTON – Wilbur, of Prince Albert passed away on April 22, 2014 at the Shellbrook Intergrated Health Care Facility at the age of 96 years. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 @ 2:00 p.m. from the Shellbrook Senior’s Centre, Shellbrook, Saskatchewan with Melvin Button officiating. Interment will follow the luncheon in the Brightholme Cemetery, Leask District, Saskatchewan. Wilbur is lovingly remembered by his children, Mary (Bruce) Stieb of Shellbrook, Sk, and Lloyd Button of Prince Albert, SK; three grandchildren, Lyle Stieb (Amanda Sokal) of Edmonton, AB, Joele (Darren) Fidler of Prince Albert, SK, and Leon Stieb of Shellbrook, SK; two great granddaughters, Jordyn and Jaryn Fidler of Prince Albert, SK; one brother, Melvin (Pat) Button of Saskatoon, SK; one sister, Eva Diehl of Saskatoon, SK; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Button of Aberdeen, SK and Irene Palidwar of Airdrie, AB. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gertie (Schmalz); parents, Frederick and Pauline Button; and his birth mother, May Button; brothers, Gordon and Richard Button; sisters, Leora, Ruby and Gladys; infant siblings; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Mary Schmalz, Rudolph and Ethel Schmalz, Herbert and Lillian Bittner, Leo Fisher, Harry Palidwar, Bill Mattock, Fred Diehl and Albert Lalonde; numerous nephews and one niece.
