Wayne Victor McKay passed away peacefully at his home on the One Arrow First Nation on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the age of 65 years. Wayne was born in Kinistino, SK. on March 10, 1947. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the One Arrow Band Hall at 7:00 p.m. led by Rev. Phong Tran. A Pipe Ceremony will be held at the One Arrow Band Hall on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. by Elder Edward Baldhead. The Burial Mass will be held at the One Arrow Band Hall on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. led by Rev. Phong Tran, followed by Eulogies by Elder Ernest Paintednose, Elder Irene Paul, Elder William Duquette, and Elder Veronica Duquette. Burial will follow at the One Arrow First Nation Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK. 233-4403
