Mr. Walter Wasylak passed away peacefully in Prince Albert, SK on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Walter will be lovingly remembered by his son, Bruce (Susan) Wasylak and their children Alicia Wasylak (Chevlin Podhorodeski) and Michael Wasylak; his daughter, Jacqueline Mazurkewich and her children Donevan Mazurkewich (Kaytlyn Chickowski) and Haley Mazurkewich (Austin Hansen and Baby Harper); his daughter, Donna (Wally) Wawro and their son Addison Wawro; his siblings, Peter (late Betty) Wasylak, Rose (Ken) Robertson, Mary (Stan) Morash; sister-in-law, Anne (late John) Wasylak; aunt, Jane (late Emile) Gagnon; siblings-in-law, Wanda (late James) Vickaryous, and Frank and Stella Bachur, Tony and Elanor Bachur; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Jessie; his parents, Michael and Minnie Wasylak; brother, John Wasylak; sister-in-law, Betty Wasylak; parents-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth Bachur; siblings and siblings-in-law William and Nellie Billay,  Ed and Doreen Bachur, and James Vickaryous; and his niece, Kimberly Vickaryous Remenda.

To honor Walter’s wishes, he has been cremated and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Walter’s memory may be made to the Victoria Hospital Foundation – 1200 24^th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
