With deep sadness the family of Vivian Bowman announce that she passed away peacefully on December 8, 2015 at Whispering Pine Place in Canwood at the age of 78.

Vivian was born on Ahtahkakoop First Nation on February 23, 1937 to her parents Joseph and Ida (nee Vandal) Ahenakew of Ahtahkakoop First Nation. She will be missed by her family.

The wake service for Vivian will commence at 6:00 pm on December 9, 2015 at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on December 11, 2015 at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery.
