Virginia May Lussier
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunty. Virginia May Lussier, who departed this life much too soon on September 20, 2025, in Saskatoon at Royal University Hospital.
Born on October 1st ,1962 in Prince Albert, SK. Virginia was the devoted child of Betty Lussier, Carl Patchin and Mack Lussier. Virginia was the second born with her older brother Mack and three younger sisters, Anita, Barb and Bonnie. Growing up in the homestead she and her siblings helped build in Spruce Home. There she would later start and raise her own family. Virginia later moved to Prince Albert in 1996, where she would some years later become a proud loving grandmother.
Virginia was a wonderful woman inside and out. She was known for her heart of gold and giving nature. Even though she never had much, she was always quick to share what little she had with anyone and everyone. Offering small things to people she loved filled her heart with joy. Virginia’s favorite thing was spending time with her family. There was no one prouder of their children and grandchildren than Virginia. She loved the simple things in life, whether it be going to garage sales, doing crafts, playing games, or just out for a nice joy ride, just as long as she had a friend or loved one next to her, she was happy!
Virginia is survived by her four children, Betty (Aaron), Andy (Jillian), Marlene (Keith) and Conrad (Tanya); grandchildren, Haylee-Raye, Joshua, Eli, Graysynn, Tristan, Payton, Alyda, Hannah, Kayne, Waylon, Kason, and Mason; siblings, Mack (Debbie); Barbara, Anita (Donald), Bonnie (Ken), Marcel (Claudia), and April; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews; special friend Mike Dubois.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Betty Lussier, Carl Patchin and Mack Lussier.
Virginia will be remembered for her love of life, dedication to family and friends, and the kind accepting influence she made everywhere she went. Virginia’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire future generations.
The family wishes to thank the amazing caring staff at Royal University Hospital-CCU, they were so loving and kind to mom. They did their best and fought their hardest for her.
