1971 – 2017

Victor Joseph Michel was born on Wednesday, February 17, 1971 in The Pas, MB and passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2017 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 46 years. Victor is survived by his loving family, his special friend Sandra Rabbitskin, his mother Bella Michel, his sisters Lana Michel and Crystal (Jen) Michell-Kohut, his nieces Laren Michel (Justin Bones) and Lindy Michel, his nephew Laimen Michel (Ces), his grandchildren Layson Cade Merasty and Lichelle Lency Skye Halcrow, and his best friend John Paul Ballantyne, as well as his aunties, uncles and numerous cousins. He joins in eternal peace with his father Gilbert Michel, his brother Curtis Gilbert Michel, his biological brother Vincent Bear, and his friend Mervin “Wiz” Ballantyne. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at River Park Chapel, Margaret Ferchuk officiating. A wake service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Bella Michel’s home. Victor’s funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Subhash Joseph officiating. Interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens in Pelican Narrows, SK.
