October 3, 1968 – August 19, 2014
Victor was a very unique person, he was usually quiet, but when you could crack the shell, the knowledge and wisdom was abundant. He remembered facts and trivia more than most. He loved animals especially cats, when he moved to Jacquies his cat came with. He battled with math, as there were many times he would ask Jacquie, and anyone that knows Jacquie, knows most times that was met with confusion, but together they could usually figure out the problem. He had plans on returning this fall to SIAST to continue his battle. Reading books, magazines and when he saved enough for his laptop, it was always with him. He enjoyed going to the Blockbuster movies and watching television with Dilon especially “Dr. Who”. When Robin Williams passed away suddenly, he came up one night so excited because they were showing one of his comedy routines “Weapons of Self Destruction” Victor and Jacquie watched it usually in tears, but not it’s a memory to cherish. Victor was a private person, and information about himself was hard to get at, he had started to open up a bit when he met Andrea and her daughter Alexis. He enjoyed spending time with them, and he spoke very highly of Alexis, she is a smart cookie. It was a blessing he had the opportunity to spend time with both of them. Two of his vices were chocolate and pepsi, he enjoyed sharing a glass with Mark, Ed and Mel and anytime there was chocolate it was a great time. Baking ideas were abundant and he always appreciated a good home cooked meal. Mornings will never be quite the same, as everyone can attest to at the Taylor household, as everyone at least once a day got to say “Victor, breakfast, time to get up”. He will be missed. Victor is survived by his caregivers Jacquie Taylor, Marshall Bell, Dilon and Tanner Taylor; his friends Mark Teskey, Edward Feschuk and Mel Wiebe; special friend Andrea Anderson and daughter Alexis; Community Health Nurse Darlene Zanidean; his family Dolly (Bert) Beam & their children Lester, Ann & Richard; Joyce (Ron) Trainer & their children Calvin, Diane, Sandra, Lorna & Sharon; Frank (Faye) Lamberty & their children Sherilyn, Darla & Melanie; Cecil (Kim) Lamberty & their children Jamie, Curtis & Lindsey; as well as all his friends at CMHA, SIAST and SHARE. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Lamberty and his grandparents Lester and Georgina Lamberty.
