Vernold Bremner

BREMNER-Vernold Rudolph, late of Prince Albert, SK passed away March 13, 2011 in Prince Albert at the age of 83 years. He was born February 26, 1928 in the Hagen district. Vernold worked in the transport industries all his life. Starting in Prince Albert, moving to Winnipeg and using Winnipeg as base as he worked across Canada. He returned to Prince Albert in 1983 to work and help his parents during their later years. In 2001, because of health problems he retired. Vernold has been a resident at Carment Court for the last nine years. Vernold is survived by his brother, Gerald (Faye) Bremner of Edmonton, AB; his sisters, Betty (Ray) DeVuono of Winnipeg, MB and Yvonne D’Amour of Prince Albert, SK; his aunts, Nellie Baun of Canwood, SK and Marjorie Bird of Birch Hills, SK; as well as nieces, nephews, great nephew and great nieces. Vernold was predeceased by his parents, Rudolphe and Martha Bremner; his three brothers Stanley, Reynold and Fred. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Northern Funeral Service-MacKenzie Chapel, 130-9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Fr. Matthew Nguyen officiating.
