Today I lost my soulmate, Verne Leslie Isbister (June 25, 1946 – March 17, 2024), the love of my life for 44 years.  Verne passed away at the Hospice at Glengarda surrounded by our beautiful family; and his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins who wrapped their loving arms around us.  The Judge was strong right to the bitter end.  We lost a kind and loving man who always put his “little family” first.  A Visitation will be held at 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Westwood Funeral Chapel (1402-20^th Street W, Saskatoon, SK.) on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.  A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Christ Church Anglican (515 28^th St. W, Saskatoon, SK.)  Please consider making a donation in Verne’s memory to the Hospice at Glengarda or to the Canadian Cancer Society.  To offer condolences to the family please visit www.westwoodfuneralchapel.com.  Arrangements entrusted to Westwood Funeral Chapel.
