1927 – 2016

VERNA ERIN HARDING (nee Gallagher) passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016, at the age of 89 years, with her children Peter and Lisa at her side. Verna was predeceased by her husband, Grant Harding, her son, Wayne Gallagher, and her daughter, Marcia Nelson.

Verna is survived by her children, Terry & Pat Gallagher, Peter Gallagher, and Lisa & Mike Coulic, her son-in-law, Roger Nelson, and her daughter-in-law, Reta & Jack Dickens, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Verna was a devoted Roman Catholic who loved her flowers and watching her birds, and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was the pillar that held her family together.

Verna’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016, at River Park Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 5T1.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Memorial Chapel, Colette Harnett, Funeral Director.
