Vern Norfield

Vern Norfield passed away in the Victoria Hospital on Monday March 19, 2012. He was born in Renown, Saskatchewan on December 18, 1935. As a child his family moved to Prince Albert, where he was raised. As a young man he met and married Denise Bernard, and they soon started a family. He joined the Prince Albert Fire Department and enjoyed a long career with them. In 1998 they moved to Christopher Lake where they enjoyed their retirement. Vern was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Denise, his brother Dale Norfield and his father John Norfield. He will be missed by his 3 children, Dr. Larry Norfield of Burnaby, Ron (Janice) Norfield of Prince Albert, and Charlene (Marty) Lalonde of Edmonton and his 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Reta Norfield (nee Gill) of Prince Albert. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local SPCA.
