With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Boudreault, who suddenly passed away on May 24th, 2024. Born July 11th, 1947 in Spiritwood to Jean-Baptiste Boudreault and Therese Bedard, Raymond spent his early years in Debden until the age of 8 when his family moved to Chicoutimi following the passing of his father. Raymond later moved to the Prince Albert area after marrying Jocelyne, and together they had five children: Jean, Marie Anne, Suzan, Pierre, and Veeda. Though their paths diverged, they remained committed to their family.
A talented bodyman by trade, Raymond was well-known for his exceptional bodywork skills and his remarkable ability to straighten vehicle frames. His craftsmanship and attention to detail earned him a stellar reputation in the community.
In his retirement, Raymond enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in working around his yard, taking daily walks with his dog, and spending time doing his favorite pastimes. An avid reader, Raymond spent countless hours reading many types of books and also enjoyed reading with his friend, Bev. You could usually find him in the garage working on various projects alongside his son, Pierre.
Raymond’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and an appreciation for the beauty in life’s small moments. He cherished family gatherings and took great joy in watching all the grandchildren play in the yard. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of Raymond Boudreault warmly invites family and friends to a luncheon on October 11th, 2024. It will be held in the basement of the Legion at 133 8th St. East, Prince Albert between 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at the South Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
