Tyrone passed away on July 24, 2021, in Big River First Nation, SK. He was born on September 22, 1985, in Saskatoon to Lillian Whitefish & Glen Chamakese. The Wake Services for Tyrone will commence on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with both services being held at the Big River First Nation Band Hall, Big River, SK. Tyrone will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery.
Tyrone is lovingly remembered by, His mother: Lillian Whitefish of BRFN; His father: Glen Chamakese of Pelican Lake FN; His children: Jordy Walter George Whitefish, Aria & Abel Pahsahnunk; His special girlfriend: Maureen McAdam; His adopted mother: Lorraine Bugler; His special brother: Jonathon Chamakese; His aunts and uncles: Peter, Allan, Maurice, Norman Whitefish & Matilda Dillon; Ronnie (Loretta) Chamakese, Karen Chamakese, Terrance Lewis, Darryl Chamakese, Kirsten (Duane) Chamakese; His paternal grandparents: Isaac & Maggie Chamakese; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Tyrone is predeceased by his maternal grandparents: George & Lucy Whitefish; His uncles: Andrew, Modest, Donald, Harvey, Raymond, Edward Whitefish; His special friend & brother-in-law: Dustin Kyle Bear; His adopted uncle: Johnny Angus; and His stepmother: Doreen Kasokeo.
The officiants will be the Elders and music will be shared by the Big River Cree Singers. Honorary pallbearers will be, Chief Bobby Cameron, Terrence Chamakese, Al Whitefish, Stanley Whitefish, Gilbert Whitefish, Clarence Whitefish, Orville Stone, Curtis Cameron, Solomon Stone, and Otto Stone. Pallbearers will be Adolphus Whitefish, Wally McAdam, Jonathon Chamakese, Clayton Smallboy, Ashley Tipiskaw, and Elvis Whitefish.
