Trevor Mustard

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Trevor Lorne Mustard on April 29, 2018 at the age of 41 years in Prince Albert. Trevor was born on May 2, 1976 in Shellbrook, SK to Lorne and Sally Mustard. He attended school from K-12 in Shellbrook. Trevor graduated from Grade 12 in 1994.
During his school years, he enjoyed being involved in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers. He obtained the Chief Scout Award and Queens Venturer Award. This is where his love of camping started and many of his lifelong friends were made during his time in these programs.
Upon moving to Prince Albert, Trevor wanted to find a way to give back and help the community that had done so much for him. He chose to take the EMT course and excelled at it but found that it wasn’t his passion.
After this he found what he loved in Direct Audio. He flew to Toronto and pursued the Car Audio Install Tech course. Over the next two years he worked with Joey to transition the business over to him; this was his passion and calling in life. Service before money was his motto and he lived it daily for the 20 years that he owned Direct Audio.
During this time, he met his fiancé Michele Miller and her two daughters Abigail & Beth Whippler. Trevor jumped in with both feet and became a father figure to them. Weekends were spent running to dance competitions and having father-daughter dates. As with everything, Trevor gave his whole heart to them and loved them unconditionally.
His love for audio came back through volunteering his time for the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts. He would help do sound for dance events and other acts coming through Prince Albert.
Trevor was predeceased by his grandparents, George & Gladys Mustard and Wilfred & Joan Hall; his father, Lorne Mustard; his uncles, Kevin Mustard and Ken Hall.
He is survived by his fiancé, Michele Miller and her children Abigail & Beth Whippler; his mother, Sally Mustard; his brothers, Brian (Stephanie Loran) Mustard, Shawn (Angie) Mustard and their children, Aidan, Damien and Liam; his sister, Judy (Andrew) Bray; his father’s wife, Jeanne Mustard; his uncle, Ross Mustard and his children, Kyle & Kristine.
The Celebration of Trevor’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation with Celebrant Sherry Ouellette. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Canadian Mental Health Association, 1301 Ave P North, Saskatoon SK S7L 2X1, or the Trevor Mustard Memorial GoFundMe campaign to support the family with any expenses and to assist Abby and Beth to continue with their passion for Dance and the Arts community – https://ca.gofundme.com/5hg1iyo.
