1947 – 2020

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tom Bear, late of Big River First Nation, beloved wife of Gloria Bear, announce his passing on April 15, 2020, at the age of 72.

The private family Wake & Funeral Services for Tom will be held on Big River First Nation. Tom will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery.

 

 Tom is lovingly survived by, His wife: Gloria Bear of BRFN; His children:Larry Bear of BRFN, SK and son, Jadon Bear, Tammy Bear of Saskatoon, SK and children, Jordan Bear, Jared (Tonya) Bear, Tyrell McGilvery, Alana Bear, Tianna Bear, Clarence Bear (Candace) of Prince Albert, SK and children, Sirez Bear, Alliyah Bear, Andrew Tom Bear, Clarence Bear Jr., and Kashton Bear, Tamatha Bear (Cody McAdam) of BRFN, SK and child, Carita “Tweet Tweet” Bear, Tommy Bear Jr. (Kayla) of Spiritwood, SK and son, Tristan Joseph Bear, Tyrone George Goodspirit Bear (Dana Morin) and child, Jade Morin, Lorraine Thomas and her daughter, Senica, His adopted children:Vernon Doucette Bear, Gerald (Wanita) Bear, Phillip Bear, Lisa Bear, and Jessica Bear; His siblings:Bella Isbister of Fort McMurray, AB; Jackie Bear (Lorna Bear) of Saskatoon, SK; Norman Bear (Doris Bear) of BRFN; Lawrence Joseph (Priscilla) of Prince Albert, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Tom was predeceased by, His parents: Mike & Rose Bear; His siblings: George Bear, James Bear,
Hariette (James) Dreaver, John George Joseph: His sons, Richard Bear, Leonard Bear, and Clifford Bear.
