Tim Grant Riley, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 55 years. Tim was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK. For many years Tim resided at the family cabin at Spruce Point, Christopher Lake, SK. In 2003, Tim bought his first home in MacDowell, SK and later moved back to Prince Albert, SK. Tim was a truck driver, a night auditor at various hotels in Prince Albert and also worked for Prince Albert Transit until the time of his illness. Tim enjoyed having a good cup of coffee or “mud” as he liked to call it, with his friends. His second home in PA was Humpty’s Restaurant where he would meet up with old friends as well as meet new ones. Tim will be lovingly remembered by: his brothers: Ron Riley and Pat Riley; his cousin and lifelong friend: Grant Riley; his aunts and uncle: Alice Pryce and Gladys & Joe Laturnus; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Tim was predeceased by: his parents: Edward “Ted and Nina (nee Harstead) Riley. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th St. E, Prince Albert, SK, with Major Harvey Compton as officiant. Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Tim may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 8 St E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5.
