Tillie Czasnojc, born March 4th, 1931 on the family farm near Weirdale, passed peacefully into the arms of God after a long battle with cancer on December 15th, 2016 at the age of 85 in the Victoria Hospital. Tillie is now reunited with her late parents Maria Krawec and Jim Kosinski, husband John Czasnojc, daughter Rose Clayton, sister Silvia Nyland, brothers Michael, Peter, Joseph and Maxim Kosinski, as well as her many beloved pets.
Tillie grew up on the farm with her 8 siblings where she fostered her love for animals and the good old fashioned way of life. After moving to Prince Albert at the age of 17, Tillie found employment as a house keeper for several years before meeting and then marrying her late husband John Czasnojc. Tillie happily became a full time home maker for her husband and the three children they were blessed with, living in a house they bought together on 4th Street East for nearly 60 years. Tillie especially enjoyed her time spent gardening, oil painting, canning, sewing and caring for the many animals that found their way to her home and into her heart. During the last few years of her life, Tillie lived with her son Don, who cared for her before her brief stay in the Victoria Hospital.
Tillie will be remembered fondly by her sons Craig (Mary) Czasnojc and Don (Terry) Czasnojc, sisters Annie Lendzyk and Mary Tyerman, brother Paul Kosinski, grandchildren Dana Doucette, Shane and Cody (Jennifer) Barr, Alyssa (Chris) Vandevord and Sheila Amolo as well as several great-grandchildren; Adam, Colton, James, Jayden and Jonathan.
