Thomas 'Lloyd' Callaghan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Callaghan. He passed on December 2, 2021 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at 74 years of age. Lloyd was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK where he married Sandra Taggart and raised his 2 boys. In 1999 he and his wife Sandy moved to Saskatoon. He retired from his job at the Canadian National Railway in 2016 and spent his retirement attending his grandchildren’s numerous sporting events and always looked forward to his summer trips to the West Coast to visit his family. He is survived by his two sons: Thomas James (Nancy) Callaghan and Christopher (Michelle) Callaghan. He will be missed dearly by his 4 grandchildren: Madison, Tanner, Easton and Ashton. He will also be remembered and missed by his siblings: Doug (Deedee) Callaghan, Lorne (Donna) Tippee, Gord Callaghan, Carol (Ken) Blogg, Larry Callaghan, Terry (Kim) Callaghan and Tina (Al) Rowse, Mary Callaghan. His in-laws Barb Becker, Brian (Debbie) Taggart, Leslie (Doug) Squires, Roxanne Taggart and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra, his father Thomas, his mother Lorraine, his brother Ken as well as his sisters-in-law: Patsy, Faye and Lainie. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at St.Paul’s ICU for the compassionate care. As per Lloyds request, there will be no funeral service, but please think of Lloyd when you see a train going down it’s tracks or hear its horn.
